Live wedding ceremony music in Cincinnati.
Acoustic guitar, a string quartet, or piano for the part of the day everyone remembers. We learn the songs you choose and time them to your processional, so the music lands exactly when you walk in.
Ceremony, start to finish
| Stop | Moment | What we play |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Prelude | Soft live music while guests find their seats |
| 2 | Processional | Your chosen song for the wedding party, timed to the walk |
| 3 | Your entrance | The song you picked, arranged so it peaks as you reach the front |
| 4 | Recessional | An upbeat send-off as you walk out married |
| 5 | Cocktail hour | Keep the live music going, or hand off to the DJ |
A ceremony guitarist who learns your songs
Evan, the owner of Monorail Sound, plays ceremony guitar himself. Couples send him the songs that mean something to them and he learns and arranges them for solo guitar, then works with your officiant and coordinator so each piece starts and ends on cue.
String quartet or piano for a formal ceremony
For a more traditional sound, we can bring a string quartet or piano. Tell us the feel you want and the songs you love and we will suggest the right format for your venue and guest count. Our guide compares guitar, string quartet, and piano, and we keep a list of acoustic guitar ceremony songs.
Sound that works indoors and outdoors
Outdoor ceremonies need a different setup than a chapel. We bring our own sound equipment, mic the officiant and vows so everyone hears them, and keep the music balanced for the space.
One crew for the whole day
Ceremony music pairs with the rest of the day: keep the same crew for cocktail hour, then a wedding DJ or a live band for the reception. We serve Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, and Columbus.
"Evan played the most beautiful guitar during our ceremony. He learned multiple songs for us and timed everything up seamlessly with the flow of the ceremony."
